RC got us tickets for the Amon Tobin show at The Roundhouse in Camden. Not being one for live music performances, generally, it was my first time there — and I was impressed! So clean, so civilised, so round! The visuals for the Amon Tobin show were pretty cool, too. Not so cool were having my feet stepped on, being crushed between other people’s bodies, and almost passing out from the body odor of the guy in front of me who insisted on lifting up his arms repeatedly to show his enthusiasm. (The main reasons I don’t go to concerts anymore, in fact.) You know what would be good inventions? An inflatable space saver, that you can inflate to hold your place when you need to go to the loo, or just need some extra personal space. Also, a sturdy, collapsible box that can be quickly assembled for short people to stand on, so we have a chance to see the stage.
