Map Tiles by Stamen: Old Street Roundabout Never Looked So Good

Stamen is a San Francisco-based design and technology studio, particularly known for their maps and data visualisations.

Old Street Roundabout is an East London landmark, an embarrassment, a visual travesty, beyond an eyesore, more like a sharp poke in the eye, as if they’d set out to make ugliest roundabout ever. (I don’t like it.)

My point is, this is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen it:
